Resources. Education. Hope.

A community-led series, offering conferences to inspire, educate, and unite the cancer community.

This year has brought many challenges to in-person events and programs held for the cancer community. For the past many years, The Beth C. Wright Cancer Resource Center and The Christine B. Foundation held important programs in-person- giving access to resources and offering empowerment to those who have received a cancer diagnosis.

Now, the Maine Cancer Series is inviting multiple speakers across the state to share relevant resources, education, and hope to help your cancer journey.

Collaboration is at the heart of this Series.

Established in 2004 and located in Ellsworth, the non-profit resource center was born from an organization created by Beth C. Wright, who died of breast cancer in 2000. Over the years, our educational, supportive, and wellness programs have expanded to several additional locations in Washington and Hancock counties.

The Beth C. Wright Cancer Resource Center provides compassion, support, wellness groups, advocacy and education for patients, families, and friends in the midst of a cancer diagnosis, treatment and/or remission.

After losing his mother to stomach cancer at the age of 47, Matt Dexter, his family, and the Maine community started CBF to build a community of support for those affected by cancer in eastern Maine.

Offering no-cost services to patients with cancer, survivors, and their families, CBF works with 100 volunteers each week to deliver nutrition assistance, aid in coordination of care, and bring conferences to those seeking education, resources, and hope.
